Say "Hi" to Justin
Chisholm Alpine Race Team Coach

Justin Lagassey returns for the third year as Head Coach of the Chisholm Alpine Race Team and is looking forward to anohter year of learning & progressing in the outdoors. As a certified nerd & level 100 USSA coach with 6 seasons of coaching experience under his belt, Justin has learned that the balancing act of having fun, learning skills & keeping everything safe is the prime directive for all our coaches.

Justin learned to ski between the knees of aunts & cousins at the Camden Snowbowl before he could read & this family tradition has stuck with him as a lifelong pursuit of fresh tracks & deep arcs. Justin pushed his own racing craft to its zenith at the 2014 USCSA National Championships representing Worcester Polytechnic Institute where he earned a degree in Chemical Engineering on the side.

During the summers, Justin coaches mountain biking at the world infamous Highland Mountain Bike Park and is pursuing a return to racing in the Enduro World Series. He recently learned to rock climb moderate sport routes near his summer home in Rumney, NH & is looking forward to learning more about boats & water craft next summer as part of a growth mindset. Personal creed; build community, go outside, do rad things.

We are super to welcome Andrew Arsenault as Chisholm Alpine Race Team's 2020-21 Adjunct Coach.
Say "Hi" to Andrew
Andrew grew up skiing the slopes at Black Mountain, taught by his mother Shirley. From a young age his passion for skiing drove him to racing. By the time he graduated high school he'd been given the opportunity to represent the state by racing for the Maine High School Ski Team. These days you can find Andrew freeing the heel & enjoying the wonderful glades at BMOM.
Say "Hi" to Coaching Team Member Alice LeDuc
Alice has grown up up skiing at Black Mountain since the age of three. She loves sunny springtime skiing & snowy powder days! When Alice isn't tearing up the slopes you can find her playing indoor soccer (another one of her many passions) or in the lodge enjoying a nice cup of hot chocolate. Above all, Alice loves coaching & working with kids. Her goal is for everyone to have fun & learn lots!
